Privacy Policy

Article 1. Purpose

This Privacy Policy explains how Policy Observatory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Company') collects, uses, provides, and protects personal information of users of the VisaCheck service (hereinafter 'Service').

Article 2. Data Controller and Processor

  1. Data Controller: Policy Observatory Co., Ltd. (정책관측소)
  2. Data Processor: My Personal Administrative Attorney Office (나만의 행정사사무소), for the purpose of performing visa change administrative services.

Article 3. Personal Information Collected and Purpose of Collection

Article 4. Method of Collection

  1. Direct input by the User through the website pre-screening form
  2. Direct provision by the User during consultation with CX Manager (via messaging, mail, etc.)
  3. Google Form for collecting information needed to prepare the integrated application form
  4. Physical document collection during in-person meetings

Article 5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company provides the User's personal information to the following third parties for the purpose of delivering the Service:

Article 6. Retention and Use Period

  1. Website pre-screening data: Destroyed 6 months after consultation is completed.
  2. Visa application documents and personal information: Destroyed without delay after visa change is completed (approved or rejected).
  3. Payment records: Retained for 5 years in accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
  4. Where other applicable laws require retention, information shall be retained for the period prescribed by such laws.

Article 7. Destruction of Personal Information

  1. Personal information that has exceeded its retention period is destroyed without delay.
  2. Electronic files: Permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery.
  3. Paper documents (passport copies, original documents, etc.): Original documents are returned to the User after visa change completion. Copies retained by the Company are shredded.

Article 8. User Rights

  1. Users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time.
  2. How to request: Contact the CX Manager directly (via E-mail).
  3. The Company shall take action within 10 days of receiving the request.

Article 9. Measures to Ensure Security of Personal Information

  1. Documents are transmitted through encrypted channels.
  2. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only (licensed agent, CX Manager).
  3. Original documents are collected and returned only via registered mail or in-person handover.

Article 11. Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be announced on the website at least 7 days prior to the effective date.
